My first published novel, Realistically Yours, is now available for sale on CreateSpace and Amazon!
This is my first novel to be published. Thanks to National Novel Writing Month and the Office of Letters and Light, I finally got the courage and motivation to publish it myself.
While it’s not my first novel ever, I think it’s one of the better ones I’ve finished. I got the inspiration for it from
a few places. The television show Mad Men is just one of them, even though this story isn’t a period piece.
This was actually one of the most difficult stories I’ve ever written. I felt more writer’s block during the entire month of November than I have ever had, but I powered through it. I think having a complete outline helped, going through each of the chapters and plotting some of the major catalysts and characters. Of course, it didn’t turn out the way I had outlined it–it usually doesn’t–but having a next possible step in mind whenever I felt my creativity blocked was extremely helpful.
I am so happy to finally share one of my books with the world, though I don’t actually anticipate much interest or sales on it. It’s just nice to have that sense of satisfaction in having completed the book and having published it.

On the Horizon:
I have several other novels and short stories I’ve written over the years, and I plan to add each of them in turn to the CreateSpace and Amazon libraries. However, these are, for the most part, still in their first draft form, so it will be several months before the next one is ready to be released.
In the meantime, that ought to give you enough time to purchase and read through Realistically Yours! Learn more about the specifics of it on My Books page.
Until next time,
